About this tour
A complete first trip to Kyrgyzstan with one local team from start to finish. From the capital you head east to swim in Issyk-Kul, cross the mountains to Song-Kol, and spend time in Naryn and on the old caravan road before returning to Bishkek.
Comfortable, varied and suitable for all ages.
Itinerary
Day01 Arrive in Bishkek
Airport pick-up and an evening walk through the centre.
Day02 Burana and Issyk-Kul
Climb the Burana minaret, then continue to the south shore of Issyk-Kul for a swim and a night in a guesthouse by the lake.
Day03 Through Kochkor to Song-Kol
Lunch in Kochkor and over the Kalmak-Ashuu pass to the lake.
Day04 Song-Kol
A full day on the pastures: riding, walking and time with the family.
Day05 Naryn
Down to Naryn; afternoon in town and a visit to our office.
Day06 Tash-Rabat
Into the At-Bashy valley, Koshoi-Korgon and a night at the caravanserai.
Day07 Back to Naryn
Morning walk at Tash-Rabat and return to Naryn.
Day08 Naryn to Bishkek
Drive north over the Dolon pass and through the Boom gorge.
Day09 Departure
Transfer to Manas airport.

I think this is the only souvenir shop in Naryn. There you can find nice carpets, slippers, socks with kirgis prints, magnets, traditional hats and a lot of other stuff.
The best place to buy a traditional shyrdak in Kyrgyzstan. I am very happy with the carpet! Besides, they sell a lot of other nice products. All the products are of high quality.

Difficulty & safety
Easy. Mostly by car with short walks. Two nights are spent at around 3,000 m (Song-Kol) and one at Tash-Rabat; the rest in towns and by the lake.

Of course — Kel-Suu or a day in Karakol fit in well.
Are flights included?
No, the tour starts and ends at Manas airport in Bishkek.
Cancellation policy
Free cancellation up to 30 days before the start. Between 30 and 14 days we keep 30% of the price, later than 14 days 50%. If we have to cancel because of weather or road closures, you get a full refund or a new date.
