Kyrgyz-Uz Travel

Naryn stretches for about fifteen kilometres along the river of the same name, squeezed between red-brown hills at just over 2,000 metres. It is the regional capital and the last real town before the Torugart road to China.

Most travellers stay one night on the way to somewhere else, but the town rewards a slower look: the morning bazaar, the blue-domed mosque, the regional museum and the walks into Salkyn-Tor park just above the town.
